Village of Mazomanie Small Animal Regulations and Licenses

Dogs and Cats:
All dogs and cats in the Village must be licensed and have rabies vaccination. Licenses may purchased at the Village Office. Under Mazomanie Municipal Code 158 No one may own, harbor or keep any dog or cat which: Is known to be infected with rabies, known to be of vicious disposition, has been found to be killing or wounding any animal, habitually disturbs the peace, chases cars, attacks or destroys the property of another. Owners are responsible for disposing of feces left by their animal.

Cats and Dogs are to be licenced annually.  Bring proof of rabies vaccination to the Village Office to get licenses.  Wisconsin State Law and Village Ordinance requires that you obtain a dog license for your pet unless it is less than six (6) months old.  The licensing year runs January to December.  Licenses can be picked up at the Village Clerk's Office during regular business hours.

Neutered and spayed cats and dogs are $15.00, unneutered and unspayed cats and dogs are $20.00.
