The entire staff at Mazomanie Animal has treated me, my husband and our dogs as family - they have been there for us through good times and bad. Our family has gone there for years. We completely trust them, the dogs trust them. Everyone there is so caring and knowledgeable. We would be lost without them. They truly are top notch all the way around. I was so very lucky to have met Leslie many, many years ago and she "allowed" me and my family to take an 11 week old black lab pup named Butch into our home. My girls grew up with him and so did I. He was my best friend and confidante. He was also a very curious guy. He liked to wander and check out other areas of our community, like Cross Plains, Black Earth etc. He really loved to go to the police station, village office and say hi. Butch was hit by a van at 14 years old. We took him to the Vet ER, then he went back to his own home hospital in Mazo. Dr. Ellen, Leslie and Cheryl were all amazed at his tenacity. He was not ready to leave me yet! He lived for another 4 years and this was due in a major part because the not only care, but love of the people that helped me to take care of him. When I finally understood I had to let him go I made a very tearful call to the clinic and was told to come in right away. Dr Volosek and Cindy were awesome. Butch was no longer hurting and we were at peace. That was June, in March the next year we had to let our other lab of 12 years go play with Butch, she had cancer. We were welcomed and comforted once again. I now have two other dogs and a cat that I trust to no one other than "our" family at MAH! We are very lucky to have such a wonderful place to care for help us to send off our pets! Thank you to each and every one of you for being there! Annette Posted By : pam (mollymo@tds.net)

We raise and breed golden retrievers and have, for the past 13yrs. They have loved and cared for our many goldens through out that time. I know our retriever pups keep them mighty busy, yet they welcome us with open arms which we are ever grateful for. But what makes them better you ask? Well, I'll tell you, we recently had to put Motzart, our Golden Boy of 13yrs and my best friend, to sleep. This was a very tough decision to make, my mind said yes, but my heart said no! I spoke with Ellen, through the tears, and knew what had to be done. Ellen helped me to better understand, allowing my heart to catch up with where my mind already was. Dear,Dear, Dr. Ellen and Leslie came out to our home, Motzart's Paradise on earth. Motzart had a marvelous picnic, with steak and chicken and all the ice cream he could want. Our Family gathered around Motzart, snuggling, loving, cuddling and relaxing with him, while Ellen and Leslie gave him a very gentle send off. Motzart dozed off without a care. He was finally able to relax and be at peace; it was the best option for our Motzart. We had to let him go with dignity, Mo was a very prideful dog and although we still miss him we know what we did was right. Dr.ELLEN,LESLIE and all of you at the clinic, are the best. For us their is no other Vet Clinic that cares or compares. We suggest you give them a 'whirl' so that you and your loved ones can experience the excellence of the Mazomanie Animal Hospital and all of its wonderful staff, just as we have.
